Power Off the Watch

Remove Wrist Bands
1 minPress the band release button on the underside of the watch case and slide the band out of its groove. Repeat for the other side.

Heat the Display Perimeter
2 minApply a heated iOpener or warm air gun around the edges of the display glass for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Handle
1 minPlace a small suction cup onto the center of the display glass and press down firmly to seal it.

Insert Opening Pick
2 minPull upward on the suction cup to create a small gap, then slide an opening pick under the glass edge.

3 minSlide the pick carefully around the display perimeter to cut through the waterproof adhesive tape.

Hinge Open the Display

2 minUse a T2 Torx screwdriver to remove the single screw securing the display cable metal bracket.

2 minApply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol around the battery edges to break down the adhesive underneath.

Pry Out Old Battery
3 minInsert a flat plastic opening tool beneath the battery cell and pry upward steadily until it releases from the case.

Clean Frame Housing
2 minWipe away remaining adhesive residue inside the watch case using a lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol.

Apply Battery Adhesive
2 minApply fresh precut double-sided adhesive strips onto the bottom of the new battery cell.

Install New Battery
2 minAlign the replacement battery in the housing, press down firmly to secure it, and reconnect its flex cable.
