   Heat the display edges

   Apply a heat gun set to low heat along the perimeter of the screen for two minutes to soften the display adhesive.

   Attach suction cup to screen

   Place a suction cup near the upper edge of the glass display panel and press firmly to secure suction.

   Create an opening gap

   Pull up gently on the suction cup until a small gap appears between the display glass and the aluminum frame.

   Insert an opening pick

   Insert a plastic guitar pick into the seam gap to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

   Slice perimeter adhesive

   Slide opening picks around all four edges of the tablet to cut through the remaining adhesive.

   Carefully lift the left edge of the display screen and swing it open toward the right like a book cover.
