   Power Off the Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen to completely shut down the device.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the side of the phone and push firmly to pop it out.

   Heat the Back Cover

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer around the outer edges of the rear panel for 2 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Attach a Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull gently upward to create a small separation gap.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the phone frame and the back panel.

   Slice the Rear Adhesive

   Slide the pick carefully along all four edges of the frame to fully separate the adhesive backing.

   Remove the Back Cover

   Lift the rear cover away from the chassis and set it aside on a clean work surface.

   Unscrew the Loudspeaker

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the lower loudspeaker module.

   Remove the Loudspeaker Assembly

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker assembly and pry it gently up out of the phone frame.

    Unscrew the Upper Shield

    Remove the Phillips screws holding down the plastic motherboard cover at the top of the device.

    Remove the Upper Shield Cover

    Lift and remove the plastic upper motherboard shield to expose the battery and interconnect connectors.

    Disconnect the Battery Cable

    Pry the battery flex connector straight up off the motherboard using a flat plastic spudger.

    Disconnect the Main Flex Cable

    Use a spudger to pry up the main interconnect flex cable from its connector on the lower sub-board.

    Disconnect the Display Flex Cable

    Pry up the display flex cable press connector attached to the lower daughterboard.

    Disconnect Antenna Cables

    Use fine tweezers to carefully lift the coaxial antenna cable connectors off their sub-board terminals.

    Unscrew the Sub-Board

    Remove the single Phillips screw holding the charging port sub-board to the phone frame.

    Pry Out the Charging Board

    Gently insert a spudger beneath the daughterboard and lever it out of its recessed housing.

    Position the New Charging Board

    Align and press the new charging port sub-board into the lower compartment of the frame.

    Secure the New Board

    Insert and tighten the single Phillips screw to secure the new daughterboard to the chassis.

    Reconnect Antenna Cables

    Align and gently press down the coaxial antenna connectors onto their respective snap terminals on the new board.

    Reconnect Lower Flex Cables

    Snap the interconnect flex cable and display flex cable back onto the new daughterboard connectors.

    Reconnect the Battery

    Press the battery cable connector back onto its motherboard socket until it clicks into place.

    Reinstall Upper Shield Cover

    Place the upper motherboard shield cover back into position and secure it using the saved Phillips screws.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker

    Set the loudspeaker module over the lower sub-board area and fasten its Phillips screws.

    Test the Charging Port

    Plug in a USB-C charger cable temporarily to verify the phone displays a charging indicator on screen.

    Apply Back Cover Adhesive

    Clean remaining old glue from the frame and lay fresh double-sided adhesive strips along the perimeter.

    Press the Back Cover

    Align the back glass panel with the frame and press firmly around all edges to secure the seal.

    Reinsert SIM Tray

    Slide the SIM tray back into its slot on the side of the phone until flush with the body.
