Power off the phone

Eject the SIM card tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left side of the frame. Push firmly to pop the tray out and remove it.

Heat the rear panel adhesive
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer on medium heat around the rear edges for two minutes. Keep the heat source moving to avoid damaging the plastic back cover.

Slice through the adhesive
4 minPlace a suction cup on the lower rear panel and pull up gently to create a small gap. Slide an opening pick under the plastic back cover and slice along all edges.

Install the new logic board
2 minAlign the replacement logic board top-first into the housing chassis, making sure no cables are pinched underneath. Press down lightly until it sits flat.

Reconnect all display and antenna cables
