   Turn Off Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select the power off option on the screen to completely shut down the phone.

   Remove SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the tray on the upper left side and push firmly to pop it out.

   Heat Back Cover

   Apply a heat gun or heated pad around the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup onto the lower portion of the back panel and gently pull upward to create a small gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a plastic opening pick into the gap between the plastic back panel and the frame.

   Slice Perimeter Adhesive

   Move the pick around all four edges of the back cover to slice through the adhesive completely.

   Remove Back Cover

   Lift the rear cover away from the chassis and place it aside.

   Unscrew Midframe

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the plastic midframe to the phone body.

   Insert an opening pick between the midframe and the front display assembly to release the plastic side clips.

    Gently insert a plastic opening pick under the charging port board and lift it out of its housing.

    Insert New Charging Board

    Position the new daughterboard in the bottom recess and press down gently until it sits flush.

    Align and carefully snap the coaxial antenna cable connectors back onto the new daughterboard headers.

    Press the main flex connector firmly onto its socket on the new charging board until it clicks.

    Clean the edges with isopropyl alcohol, apply new double-sided adhesive strips, and press the back cover firmly onto the frame.

    Reinsert SIM Card Tray
