   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before proceeding.

   Heat Rear Panel

   Apply a heat gun set to low or a hair dryer along the edges of the back glass for two minutes. This softens the factory perimeter adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower section of the rear glass near the USB-C port. Firmly press it down to secure a solid seal.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Pull up gently on the suction cup to create a small gap, then insert a plastic opening pick. Slide the pick around the edges to slice through the adhesive.

   Lift Rear Glass

   Carefully pivot the rear glass panel open from the left edge. Do not pull it away completely yet as internal ribbons may still be close.

   Unscrew Motherboard Cover

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper plastic motherboard bracket. Keep the screws organized by location.

   Remove Motherboard Bracket

   Use a plastic spudger to gently pry up and remove the motherboard bracket containing the wireless charging assembly.

   Disconnect Battery Connector

   Locate the battery flex cable attached to the logic board. Use a nylon spudger to pop the connector straight up from its socket.

   Disconnect Display Extension Cable

   Unplug the display extension ribbon cable spanning over the battery area to clear your work field.

    Apply Isopropyl Alcohol

    Drip a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol along the top and side edges of the battery. Allow one minute for it to dissolve the adhesive beneath.

    Pry Out Battery

    Insert a flat plastic spudger under the bottom edge of the battery. Slowly leverage the battery upward until it detaches from the frame.

    Remove Residual Adhesive

    Clean remaining glue from the battery well using tweezers and a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply Adhesive Strips

    Lay down new double-sided battery adhesive strips into the recessed battery bay of the phone frame. Peel off the protective backing film.

    Install New Battery

    Align the replacement battery in the housing and press down firmly to secure it to the adhesive strips.

    Reconnect Flex Cables

    Press the battery connector and display ribbon cable firmly into their respective sockets on the motherboard until they snap into place.

    Reattach Motherboard Bracket

    Place the motherboard bracket back into position and drive the Phillips #000 screws securely into place.

    Reseal Rear Glass

    Apply fresh precut rear cover adhesive around the perimeter frame, then press the back glass firmly into position.
