   Power Down the Device

   Press and hold the Power button, then tap Power Off on the screen.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom edge of the phone and push inward to pop out the tray.

   Heat the Rear Glass Cover

   Apply a heat gun or heated pad to the back cover for two minutes to soften the perimeter adhesive.

   Attach a Suction Cup

   Place a suction handle onto the lower section of the rear glass and press down firmly to engage the seal.

   Create a Gap

   Pull up on the suction handle gently while sliding a thin opening pick under the bottom glass edge.

   Slice the Perimeter Adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the remaining adhesive.

   Remove the Back Cover

   Lift the rear glass off the chassis and lay it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the Loudspeaker Assembly

   Use a precision Phillips screwdriver to remove all screws securing the lower loudspeaker bracket.

   Remove the Loudspeaker Module

   Gently insert a spudger beneath the edge of the loudspeaker and pry it up out of the frame.

    Disconnect the Battery Cable

    Pry the battery connector straight up from its socket on the motherboard to prevent electrical shorts.

    Disconnect the Interconnect Cable

    Use the flat end of a spudger to pop the main interconnect flex cable off the charging daughterboard.

    Disconnect Antenna Coaxial Cables

    Use fine-tip tweezers to unclip the white and black antenna coaxial connectors from the daughterboard.

    Unscrew the Daughterboard

    Remove the single Phillips screw securing the charging port daughterboard to the phone frame.

    Extract the Old Charging Board

    Insert a spudger underneath the daughterboard and carefully pry it out of the lower recessed cavity.

    Install the New Charging Board

    Set the new USB-C daughterboard into the lower housing and press it down firmly until aligned.

    Secure the Daughterboard Screw

    Reinstall and tighten the single Phillips screw to fix the new daughterboard to the chassis.

    Attach Antenna Coaxial Cables

    Align the antenna cable heads over their daughterboard terminals and snap them down into place.

    Reconnect the Interconnect Cable

    Press the main interconnect flex cable connector down onto the daughterboard until it clicks.

    Reconnect the Battery

    Align the battery flex connector over its terminal and press down firmly to re-establish power.

    Position the Loudspeaker Module

    Place the loudspeaker assembly over the lower board and press gently to seat it into the frame.

    Fasten Loudspeaker Screws

    Reinstall the Phillips screws into the loudspeaker assembly and tighten them evenly.

    Apply Back Cover Adhesive

    Clean residual glue with isopropyl alcohol, then align and stick new pre-cut adhesive around the frame edge.

    Align the rear glass cover onto the chassis and apply firm pressure along all edges to secure the seal.
