   Power off the phone

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Make sure the phone is completely shut down before starting.

   Remove the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the bottom edge of the frame. Push inward firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it.

   Heat the back cover edges

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the perimeter of the back panel for two minutes. This softens the adhesive seal under the rear cover.

   Attach the suction cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower half of the back glass. Pull up on the handle to create a tiny gap between the back panel and the frame.

   Insert a plastic prying tool

   Slide a plastic prying tool or opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Keep the pick inserted shallowly to avoid damaging interior cables.

   Slice through the back cover adhesive

   Slowly slide the plastic prying tool along all four edges of the rear panel. Reapply heat if the adhesive becomes tough to cut through.

   Lift and remove the rear panel

   Carefully lift the rear panel off the frame. Set the back cover aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the lower speaker cover

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws holding the lower speaker housing to the frame. Set the screws aside in a safe spot.

   Pry up the lower speaker housing

   Insert a flat plastic spudger under the edge of the lower speaker cover. Lever it up gently to release the retaining clips.

    Disconnect the speaker contact pins

    Use tweezers or a spudger to gently loosen the speaker module from its recessed housing. Pay attention to the contact pads underneath.

    Remove the faulty speaker module

    Lift the damaged loudspeaker unit straight out of the bottom cavity of the device.

    Clean the speaker mounting cavity

    Use tweezers to clear away any loose debris or old adhesive residue from the speaker compartment. Ensure the metal spring contacts are clean.

    Insert the new loudspeaker

    Position the new loudspeaker module into the lower frame cavity. Press down gently until it sits flush against the contact points.

    Reposition the lower speaker cover

    Place the lower speaker housing back over the assembly. Press down around the edges until it clicks into place.

    Secure the lower speaker screws

    Reinstall the Phillips #000 screws into the lower speaker assembly. Tighten them gently until secure without over-torquing.

    Apply fresh back panel adhesive

    Place pre-cut adhesive strips around the rim of the rear chassis. Peel off the top layer of protective film.

    Reattach the back cover

    Align the rear panel with the phone frame and press down firmly. Apply steady pressure along all edges for two minutes to seal the adhesive.

    Reinsert the SIM tray
