   Power down the device

   Turn off your Motorola Moto Edge 60 Pro completely before beginning the repair. Ensure the USB cable is unplugged.

   Heat the back panel

   Apply a heat gun evenly around the edges of the rear glass for 2-3 minutes to soften the underlying adhesive.

   Attach a suction cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull up gently to create a slight gap.

   Insert an opening pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap between the glass back cover and the frame.

   Slice the perimeter adhesive

   Slide the opening pick around all sides of the back cover to cut through the perimeter glue.

   Remove the rear glass

   Carefully lift the back cover off the chassis and set it aside in a safe location.

   Unscrew the upper motherboard cover

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper motherboard plastic bracket.

   Pry up the motherboard bracket

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the bracket and gently pop it off the phone frame.

   Disconnect the battery cable

   Use a plastic spudger to pry the battery connector straight up from its socket to prevent electrical shorts.

    Disconnect the display flex cable

    Locate the display ribbon cable on the motherboard and disconnect it using the flat end of a spudger.

    Heat the front display

    Use a heat gun to warm the front screen perimeter for 3 minutes to loosen the screen glue.

    Attach suction cup to display

    Secure a suction cup onto the lower portion of the front glass screen.

    Insert an opening pick under the screen

    Pull up on the suction cup and slide an opening pick underneath the screen glass.

    Slice the screen adhesive

    Carefully slide the pick around all four edges of the screen to cut through the display adhesive.

    Lift away the old screen

    Thread the screen flex cable through the frame slot as you lift the old screen off.

    Clean adhesive residue from the frame

    Use isopropyl alcohol and a spudger to scrape away all remaining glue and glass bits from the frame ledge.

    Apply fresh display adhesive

    Lay pre-cut adhesive strips precisely along the inner frame perimeter.

    Thread new display flex cable

    Guide the ribbon cable of the replacement screen through the frame opening.

    Press new screen into frame

    Align the replacement screen carefully with the edges and press down firmly to set the adhesive.

    Snap the display ribbon cable securely back onto its motherboard socket.
