   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully powered down before continuing.

   Remove SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject pin into the small hole on the bottom edge of the phone frame. Push firmly to pop the tray out and set it aside.

   Heat Rear Panel Adhesive

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the edges of the back cover for two to three minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the rear glass.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel. Press down to secure it and pull upward gently to create a gap.

   Slice Back Panel Adhesive

   Insert an opening pick into the gap between the glass and the frame. Slide the pick along all sides to slice through the adhesive seal.

   Lift Off Rear Cover

   Carefully lift the rear glass panel away from the chassis. Set the rear cover aside in a clean, dust-free area.

   Remove Loudspeaker Screws

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower loudspeaker housing. Store the screws together safely.

   Pry Out Loudspeaker Housing

   Insert the flat end of a spudger under the speaker module edge. Carefully pry up and lift the loudspeaker assembly out of the frame.

   Disconnect Main Flex Cable

   Use a plastic spudger to pry up the main ribbon flex cable connector from the lower daughterboard. Ensure you do not bend the connector pins.

    Disconnect Coaxial Antenna Cables

    Use fine-tipped tweezers to carefully pop the white and blue coaxial antenna cables off their daughterboard terminals.

    Remove Daughterboard Securing Screw

    Locate and remove the single Phillips screw anchoring the sub-board to the phone frame using a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

    Pry Up Defective Microphone Board

    Gently insert a spudger underneath the daughterboard containing the primary microphone. Pry up to remove the board from the chassis.

    Install New Microphone Board

    Position the new replacement daughterboard into the lower housing recess. Press gently until it rests flat against the frame.

    Secure Board and Reconnect Antennas

    Reinstall the daughterboard Phillips screw, then use tweezers to align and snap both antenna cables back into place.

    Reconnect Main Flex Cable

    Align the interconnect ribbon cable connector over its socket on the new daughterboard. Press firmly straight down until it clicks.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker Assembly

    Place the loudspeaker cover back over the daughterboard assembly. Fasten it securely with the Phillips #000 screws.

    Apply Fresh Rear Adhesive

    Clean remaining adhesive residue off the frame using isopropyl alcohol. Lay down a fresh pre-cut adhesive strip along the frame perimeter.

    Reattach Rear Glass Panel

    Align the back cover over the frame and press down firmly around all edges to seal the phone closed.
