   Eject SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole at the top frame of the device. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it completely.

   Heat Back Cover

   Apply heat around the rear glass edges using a heat gun or hair dryer for 2 to 3 minutes. This softens the factory perimeter adhesive holding the back cover.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel. Press down firmly to create a seal, then pull up gently to create a thin gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam opened by the suction cup. Keep the pick flat to avoid penetrating too deeply into internal components.

   Slice Perimeter Adhesive

   Slide the pick around all four edges of the back panel to separate the adhesive. Reapply heat if the pick meets heavy resistance.

   Lift Back Cover

   Carefully lift the glass back cover straight off the chassis. Store it in a clean, safe area away from small debris.

   Unscrew Upper Bracket

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper motherboard cover and NFC coil. Keep track of each screw for reassembly.

    Unscrew Speaker Assembly

    Remove the Phillips screws holding the lower speaker module over the sub-board. Organize these screws separately from the top frame screws.

    Remove Speaker Housing

    Gently lever the speaker module up and away from the bottom chassis well. Set the module aside.

    Unplug the main interconnect flex cable that runs directly over the top of the battery. Fold it back carefully out of the working area.

    Dispense a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol around the outer edges of the battery. Wait two minutes for the solvent to dissolve the adhesive.

    Pry Out Old Battery

    Slide a flat plastic prying card beneath the side of the battery. Work slowly to lift the cell up without bending or damaging it.

    Clean Chassis Recess

    Scrape off residual adhesive tape from the battery well using a spudger. Wipe down the metal tray with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.

    Apply Battery Adhesive

    Place new double-sided adhesive strips into the clean battery well. Peel off the top protective liners to expose the sticky surface.

    Seat New Battery

    Align the replacement battery over the well and press it firmly into position. Ensure the flex cable is oriented towards its socket correctly.

    Reconnect Extension Flex

    Position the main interconnect cable over its motherboard terminal and press down until it snaps securely into place.

    Align the battery flex cable over its connector socket and press straight down until you feel a firm click.

    Position the motherboard shield and NFC assembly onto the top section of the frame. Secure it with all original Phillips screws.

    Apply fresh custom adhesive tape around the edge of the chassis. Align the glass back cover, press along all sides firmly, and reinsert the SIM tray.
