Electronics recycling FAQ

Common questions about electronic recycling, disposal, and drop-off.

What electronics can I recycle with LML Repair?

We accept smartphones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, gaming consoles, and many other consumer electronics. Condition does not need to be perfect — cracked screens and dead batteries are fine.

Do you offer electronics recycling near me?

Yes. Visit an LML Repair store to drop off eligible electronics, or submit the form on this page to start the process before you come in.

Is this the same as electronic disposal?

For most people, yes — you are getting rid of old electronic devices responsibly. We prioritize refurbishment when a device can be restored, and responsible recycling when it cannot.

Can I get cash or credit instead of free disposal?

Devices with resale or refurb value may qualify for trade-in credit or cash through our buy, sell, and trade program. Submit the recycling form or visit our sell page for a quote.

Should I erase my data before recycling?

Yes. Back up what you need, sign out of accounts, and factory reset your device before drop-off. Ask our team in store if you need help preparing a phone or tablet.

Do you take TVs, appliances, or large office equipment?

Our focus is phones, tablets, laptops, and similar consumer electronics. Contact us before bringing large or unusual items so we can confirm we can accept them.

Repairable devices enter our refurb program

Not everything becomes e-waste. Devices we can restore are tested, graded, and resold through our refurbishment pipeline.
