No Network Connection On Phone
When your phone displays No Service, Searching, or fails to detect mobile data, software glitches or damaged antenna hardware are usually to blame. Here is how to diagnose and restore your cellular connection.

Step 1
Toggle Airplane Mode and Perform a Hard Restart

Quick checks first
Before opening your device or purchasing replacement parts, rule out carrier and software issues:
- Check for carrier outages: Verify with another device on the same carrier network to ensure towers in your local area are online.
- Update carrier settings: Connect to Wi-Fi, head to Settings > About, and check if a carrier profile update prompt appears.
- Test a different SIM card: Insert a known working SIM card from another phone. If the second SIM works instantly, your carrier needs to issue you a replacement SIM.

When it's a real repair
