   Press and hold the Side key and Volume Down button simultaneously, then tap Power Off on the screen.

   Eject the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole next to the SIM tray and push firmly until the tray pops out.

   Heat the cover screen edges

   Apply heat to the outer perimeter of the front screen using a heat gun set to low heat for two minutes.

   Attach the suction cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the cover glass and press down to create a tight seal.

   Pull up gently on the suction cup handle to create a tiny gap, then slide a plastic opening pick beneath the glass.

   Slide the plastic pick along the left edge of the cover display to cut through the screen adhesive.

   Carefully guide the opening pick around the top corner and across the top edge of the cover screen.

   Slide the pick down the right side of the screen, keeping the blade insertion depth minimal to avoid internal components.

   Cut through the remaining adhesive along the bottom edge while maintaining slight upward tension with the suction cup.

    Pivot the cover screen

    Gently swing the glass panel open toward the right side like a book cover, exposing the ribbon cable connection.

    Remove bracket screw

    Use a precision Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the single screw securing the display cable bracket.

    Detach display cable bracket

    Use tweezers to lift the metal shield bracket off the motherboard connector and set it aside.

    Pry the screen cable connector straight up from its socket on the motherboard using a plastic spudger.

    Place the metal retaining bracket back over the connector and tighten the Phillips #00 screw.

    Position the replacement cover screen precisely over the front frame, aligning the camera cutout first.
