Power Off and Remove SIM Tray
2 minTurn off your Galaxy Z Fold 6 completely. Insert a SIM eject pin into the hole on the SIM tray to eject it.

3 minApply a heated pad or heat gun to the rear glass panel for two minutes to soften the factory adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup on the lower portion of the back glass and pull upward to create a thin gap.

Insert Opening Pick
2 minSlide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap between the frame and the rear glass.

Remove the Loudspeaker Assembly
2 minGently wedge a spudger beneath the loudspeaker housing and lift it out of the frame.

Disconnect Sub-Board Interconnect Cables
2 minDisconnect the main ribbon press connectors attached to the lower microphone sub-board.

Remove the Faulty Microphone Board
3 minUse tweezers to carefully pry the sub-board containing the damaged primary microphone out of the chassis.

Transfer Rubber Microphone Gasket
2 minTransfer the small rubber seal from the old microphone port to the new microphone sub-board.

Install New Microphone Sub-Board
2 minPosition the new microphone sub-board into the bottom frame slot and press it down firmly.

Reconnect Sub-Board Cables
2 minSnap the interconnect ribbon cable connectors securely back onto the new microphone board.

Reinstall Loudspeaker Assembly
