   Remove the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the side of the device to pop out the tray. Pull the tray out and set it aside.

   Heat the Rear Glass

   Apply heat around the perimeter of the rear glass panel using a heat gun for two minutes. Keep the heat moving continuously to avoid scorching the back cover.

   Slice the Rear Glass Adhesive

   Place a suction cup on the lower rear glass and pull up firmly to create a gap. Insert a plastic opening pick and slice along the edges to release the adhesive.

   Remove the Rear Cover

   Gently lift the rear glass panel away from the frame once the adhesive is fully severed. Set the panel on a clean mat.

   Unscrew the Upper Shielding Bracket

   Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the plastic upper cover over the logic board. Keep track of each screw for reassembly.

   Remove the Wireless Charging Assembly

   Use a plastic spudger to gently peel up the wireless charging coil and speaker bracket module. Lift the module clear of the device frame.

   Disconnect the Battery Connectors

   Use the edge of a spudger to snap both main battery flex cables straight up from their sockets. Disconnecting power prevents short circuits during board removal.

   Disconnect the Interconnect Cables

   Pry up the sub-board interconnect and main display flex connectors from the logic board. Fold the cables back slightly to keep them out of the way.

   Disconnect Camera Connectors

   Unplug all camera flex press-connectors attached to the top logic board with a spudger. Take care not to damage the surface-mount socket pins.

    Unplug Antenna Coaxial Cables

    Gently pry up the small coaxial antenna connectors from the edge of the motherboard using precision tweezers. Lift straight up to avoid twisting the terminals.

    Unscrew the Logic Board

    Remove the remaining Phillips #00 screws holding the motherboard to the internal housing. Store these screws separately from the shield screws.

    Lift Out the Logic Board

    Pry up the bottom edge of the logic board using a spudger and lift it out of the chassis. Do not force the board if any remaining cables catch.

    Transfer Rear Camera Modules

    Use tweezers to lift the camera sensors from the original motherboard and press-connect them into the new replacement board.

    Seat the New Logic Board

    Lower the new logic board into the chassis at an angle, aligning the camera sensors with their cutouts. Ensure no flex cables are trapped underneath.

    Secure the Logic Board Screws

    Reinstall the designated Phillips #00 screws to fasten the replacement logic board to the frame. Tighten them until snug without overtightening.

    Reconnect Flex Cables and Battery

    Press all camera, display, and antenna connectors back onto the motherboard sockets, finishing with the battery connectors last.
