   Press and hold the Side and Volume Down buttons, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Eject SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject pin into the hole on the outer left edge of the phone. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it.

   Heat the rear glass panel

   Apply a heat gun or heated iOpener along the outer back cover edges for 2-3 minutes. This softens the strong perimeter adhesive seal.

   Slice rear glass adhesive

   Attach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull up to create a small gap. Insert a thin opening pick into the seam to cut the adhesive.

   Remove the rear glass panel

   Slide the pick carefully around all four edges of the back glass panel. Lift and set aside the glass panel once completely freed.

   Unscrew wireless charging coil

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the top mid-frame cover and wireless charging coil assembly.

   Remove wireless charging module

   Gently lift the wireless charging coil and unclip the upper plastic mid-frame shield from the housing chassis.

   Disconnect battery cables

   Use a plastic spudger to carefully snap off both battery flex connectors from the motherboard. Disconnecting power prevents electrical shorts.

   Unscrew lower speaker module

   Remove the Phillips #00 screws holding the lower loudspeaker housing assembly to the bottom of the frame.

    Remove defective lower speaker

    Pry up the lower speaker block gently using a plastic opening tool and lift it out of its housing recess.

    Unscrew upper speaker module

    Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the top speaker enclosure near the upper internal frame edge.

    Remove defective upper speaker

    Lever the upper speaker assembly out from the chassis frame using precision tweezers or an opening pick.

    Install new speaker module

    Position the replacement speaker assembly into the frame slot and press down evenly until it seats flush.

    Fasten speaker retaining screws

    Thread and tighten the Phillips #00 screws to hold the replacement speaker block securely in place.

    Reconnect battery flex cables

    Align the battery flex connectors directly over their socket headers and press down until you feel a firm click.

    Reinstall wireless charging module

    Lay the wireless charging coil and plastic mid-frame shield flat over the motherboard, then reinstall all perimeter screws.

    Apply rear glass adhesive

    Clean remaining glue from the frame with isopropyl alcohol, then lay down a fresh pre-cut adhesive gasket.
