   Eject the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM ejector tool into the pinhole next to the SIM tray on the top side. Remove the tray from the device.

   Heat the rear glass panel

   Apply heat to the edges of the back cover glass using a heat gun for approximately two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach suction cup to lower rear glass

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear glass cover. Firmly pull up on the ring to create a slight gap.

   Insert an opening pick

   Slide a plastic opening pick into the gap between the rear glass and the metal frame.

   Slice perimeter adhesive

   Move the pick along all edges of the glass back cover to slice through the adhesive seal completely.

   Remove the rear glass panel

   Lift the rear glass cover away from the chassis and place it on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the upper speaker shield

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the wireless charging coil upper shield.

   Disconnect the wireless charging pad

   Use a plastic spudger to detach the press connector for the wireless charging pad from the motherboard.

   Remove the wireless charging coil

   Carefully peel up and remove the wireless charging coil assembly from the device.

    Unscrew the lower speaker enclosure

    Remove the Phillips screws holding the lower speaker and daughterboard cover in place.

    Insert a spudger under the lower speaker housing and gently pry it out of the phone.

    Disconnect the main interconnect cable

    Pry up the main flex cable connector linking the charging port sub-board to the main motherboard.

    Detach the secondary display flex cable from the sub-board using the flat tip of a spudger.

    Disconnect the antenna coaxial cables

    Use precision tweezers to carefully pop off the white and blue antenna coaxial connectors from the sub-board.

    Unscrew the sub-board retaining screw

    Remove the single Phillips screw securing the sub-board to the outer housing frame.

    Extract the old charging port sub-board

    Gently pry up the damaged charging port sub-board using a spudger and lift it out of the chassis.

    Seat the new charging port sub-board

    Align the replacement sub-board into the lower housing recess and press it down flush.

    Secure the sub-board screw

    Reinstall and tighten the single Phillips screw securing the new sub-board to the frame.

    Reconnect antenna coaxial cables

    Align and snap the coaxial antenna cables onto their mating connectors on the new sub-board.

    Reconnect interconnect flex cables

    Press down firmly on the main and display flex connectors until they click into place on the sub-board.

    Reinstall lower speaker housing

    Place the lower speaker assembly back into position and fasten its Phillips screws.

    Align the wireless charging assembly, reconnect its motherboard press connector, and secure the frame screws.

    Clean old adhesive from frame

    Scrape off residual adhesive around the frame using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.

    Apply new rear panel adhesive

    Align and stick pre-cut replacement adhesive strips onto the outer frame perimeter.

    Reseal the back cover and insert SIM tray

    Align the glass rear panel onto the frame, press firmly along all edges to seal it, and reinsert the SIM card tray.
