   Power Off and Eject SIM Tray

   Press and hold the Power button to shut down your Galaxy Z Flip 5G completely. Insert a SIM eject tool into the tray hole on the upper side to pop out the SIM card tray.

   Heat the Lower Glass Panel

   Use a heat gun or hairdryer to warm the bottom rear glass cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive. Ensure the glass is warm to the touch but not hot enough to burn.

   Attach Suction Cup to Lower Back Cover

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the lower back glass panel. Pull upward firmly to create a slight gap between the glass cover and the phone frame.

   Slice Lower Glass Adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Carefully slide the pick along the perimeter of the lower glass panel to sever the adhesive bond.

   Remove Lower Back Glass

   Lift the lower glass panel off the device frame and set it aside safely. Clean any residual adhesive tape from the chassis frame edges.

   Unscrew Lower Assembly Bracket

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower speaker enclosure and daughterboard shield. Keep these screws organized for reassembly.

   Remove Speaker Bracket

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the lower speaker assembly bracket. Pry gently to unhook the clips and lift the speaker module out of the chassis.

   Disconnect Main Flex Cable

   Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to pry the main interconnect flex cable straight up off its socket on the lower daughterboard. Avoid prying against circuit board components.

   Disconnect Sub-Display Flex Cable

   Locate the secondary display flex connector on the lower board. Carefully lift the press connector straight up to disconnect it from the board.

    Disconnect Antenna Cables

    Use precision tweezers to gently pry the coaxial antenna connectors straight up from their sockets on the daughterboard. Be careful not to bend the thin gold contact heads.

    Unfasten Daughterboard Screw

    Locate and remove the single Phillips #00 screw securing the USB-C daughterboard to the lower frame housing.

    Remove Damaged Charging Port Board

    Insert the flat edge of a spudger under the lower daughterboard and gently pry it out of its recessed frame slot. Lift the entire board assembly out of the phone.

    Install New Charging Port Board

    Position the replacement USB-C daughterboard into the lower housing cavity. Align the USB-C port with the bezel cutout and press the board flat into place.

    Secure Board and Reconnect Cables

    Reinstall the single retaining screw, then snap the coaxial antenna cables and interconnect flex connectors back onto their respective daughterboard sockets.

    Reinstall Speaker Assembly

    Place the lower speaker module back over the daughterboard area and press down until it snaps flush into the chassis frame. Secure it with the Phillips #00 screws.

    Reattach Lower Back Glass

    Apply new pre-cut adhesive to the lower glass panel rim. Align the glass over the lower chassis and press firmly along all edges for 30 seconds to seal.
