   Eject the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the upper left side of the frame. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it.

   Heat the Bottom Back Glass

   Use a heat gun or hairdryer on medium setting to warm the lower rear glass panel for 2 minutes. Keep the heat moving around the perimeter to soften the adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup to Lower Panel

   Press a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear lower glass. Gently pull upward until a small gap opens between the glass and frame.

   Slice Lower Glass Adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slice along the bottom and side edges. Lift the lower back panel away from the chassis.

   Heat the Outer Flex Window

   2 min

   Apply heat evenly across the top cover display (Flex Window) for 2 minutes to loosen its surrounding adhesive.

   Slice Upper Display Panel

   Place a suction cup on the Flex Window glass and pull up to insert an opening pick along the top edge. Carefully slice the adhesive around the perimeter.

   Disconnect Cover Display Cable

   Slightly tilt the Flex Window panel up to access its ribbon connector. Pry the flex connector straight up using a plastic spudger and set the panel aside.

   Unscrew Upper Midframe Bracket

   Remove the ten Phillips #000 screws securing the upper midframe cover and wireless charging coil assembly.

   Remove Wireless Charging Coil

   Use a spudger to lift the edge of the plastic upper midframe bracket and gently peel the attached wireless charging film away from the battery.

    Disconnect Battery Connectors

    Use a plastic spudger to carefully disconnect both battery ribbon cables from the motherboard to ensure the board is unpowered.

    Unscrew Lower Speaker Housing

    Remove the seven Phillips #000 screws holding down the bottom speaker module and daughterboard bracket.

    Remove Lower Speaker Bracket

    Lever a plastic spudger under the edge of the lower speaker enclosure and lift it straight out of the frame.

    Disconnect Display Interconnect Cables

    Pry up the main display flex cable connectors on both the upper motherboard and lower daughterboard using a plastic spudger.

    Unsnap Inner Screen Plastic Bezel

    Carefully insert a thin plastic opening tool under the thin plastic perimeter border surrounding the foldable inner display. Unsnap and peel the trim away.

    Heat Inner Foldable Display

    Warm the left and right edges of the main foldable inner screen for 2 minutes to soften the under-screen adhesive pads.

    Slice Inner Screen Adhesive

    Slide a thin plastic opening card under the top edge of the flexible display panel and slowly work down toward the hinge to release the screen glue.

    Remove Main Display Assembly

    Feed the display flex ribbon cables through the frame slots while lifting the flexible OLED display clear of the phone body.

    Clean Frame Residue

    Apply a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to a microfiber cloth and thoroughly clean old adhesive strips off the aluminum frame before installing the replacement screen.
