   Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Heat the lower back panel

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer to the edges of the lower rear glass panel for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach the suction cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower back glass panel near the bottom edge. Pull upward steadily to create a slight gap.

   Insert a plastic pick

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap between the glass panel and the frame.

   Slice the adhesive seal

   Slide the plastic pick carefully along all four sides of the lower back panel to sever the internal adhesive.

   Lift away the lower back glass

   Gently lift the lower back panel straight up off the phone body and set it aside safely.

   Remove speaker housing screws

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws holding down the lower speaker housing assembly.

   Pry out the speaker assembly

   Insert the flat end of a spudger under the speaker module and carefully pry it out of the lower chassis.

   Disconnect the battery flex cable

   Use a plastic spudger to pry the lower battery press connector straight up off the daughterboard.

    Disconnect the main interconnect cable

    Unplug the main interconnect ribbon cable press connector from the charging port daughterboard.

    Disconnect the coaxial antenna cables

    Use precision tweezers to gently unclip the black and white coaxial antenna connectors from the board.

    Remove daughterboard securing screws

    Unscrew the Phillips #000 screws securing the charging port daughterboard to the lower frame assembly.

    Extract the original charging port board

    Insert a spudger beneath the daughterboard and carefully pry it up from the chassis to remove it.

    Position the new charging port board

    Set the new replacement daughterboard into the frame recess, ensuring all alignment posts slot in correctly.

    Fasten daughterboard screws

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips #000 screws to secure the new charging port board to the lower frame.

    Reconnect coaxial antenna cables

    Carefully align and snap the coaxial antenna connectors back onto their corresponding headers on the board.

    Reconnect the interconnect flex cable

    Align the main interconnect flex connector over its socket and press firmly until it snaps into place.

    Press the battery cable press connector straight down onto the daughterboard to restore the power connection.

    Set the speaker module in place

    Align the lower speaker housing over the daughterboard assembly and press it into position.

    Secure the speaker housing by re-inserting and tightening the remaining Phillips #000 screws.

    Apply new frame adhesive

    Clean remaining old glue with isopropyl alcohol, then lay down pre-cut adhesive strips along the lower frame edges.

    Press the lower back glass into place

    Align the lower back glass over the frame and press firmly along all edges to secure the water-resistant seal.
