   Power down the device

   Turn off the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G completely before beginning any disassembly.

   Heat the back glass

   Apply heat to the edges of the back glass panel using a heat gun for 2 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the rear glass and pull upward to create a small gap.

   Slice rear adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slide it along the perimeter to slice through the back cover adhesive.

   Remove rear glass panel

   Gently lift and remove the rear glass panel from the chassis.

   Unscrew midframe brackets

   Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the motherboard cover and wireless charging coil.

   Detach wireless charging coil

   Unclip and peel up the wireless charging pad and midframe bracket assembly.

   Disconnect both batteries

   Use a plastic spudger to disconnect both press connectors for the main and secondary batteries.

   Heat front cover display

   Warm the outer cover screen edges with a heat gun for 2 minutes to loosen the adhesive.

    Pry off front cover display

    Insert a thin opening pick around the edge of the front outer display to separate the adhesive.

    Disconnect front display cable

    Unplug the front screen flex cable from the motherboard and set the cover screen aside.

    Unbolt upper motherboard bracket

    Remove the remaining screws holding down the top metal shield over the mainboard.

    Remove lower speaker assembly

    Unscrew and lift out the lower loudspeaker module from the bottom frame section.

    Disconnect main inner display flex

    Pry up the flexible inner display connector ribbons attached to the mainboard.

    Warm the inner display adhesive

    Apply soft heat evenly along the perimeter of the inner folding screen for 3 minutes.

    Pry inner bezel ring

    Carefully pry up the protective plastic bumper frame around the edges of the inner screen using a pick.

    Slice flexible screen adhesive

    Slowly slide a thin pry tool under the flexible OLED panel, taking care not to puncture the screen base.

    Remove damaged folding screen

    Lift the main folding display assembly away from the central hinge and chassis.

    Clean frame adhesive residue

    Remove old adhesive strips and clean the frame surfaces using isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth.

    Apply new screen adhesive

    Lay down pre-cut adhesive strips onto the perimeter frame of the folding display housing.

    Connect replacement display flex

    Thread the new screen flex ribbons through the frame slots and plug them securely into the mainboard.

    Press display into frame

    Align the new folding screen into the chassis and press firmly along the borders to seal the adhesive.
