   Remove SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small pinhole next to the SIM card slot. Push firmly to eject the tray and pull it out completely.

   Heat Outer Back Glass

   Apply heat to the edges of the outer back glass panel with a heat gun for 2 to 3 minutes. This softens the adhesive holding the rear glass to the frame.

   Slice Back Panel Adhesive

   Attach a suction cup near the lower edge of the back panel and pull up gently. Insert a plastic opening pick into the resulting seam and slide it around the perimeter to cut the adhesive.

   Disconnect Back Panel Flex

   Carefully tilt the back glass open without straining the sensor cable. Use a spudger to disconnect the flex cable from the motherboard bracket.

   Unscrew Motherboard Shield

   Remove all Phillips #000 screws securing the top midframe bracket and wireless charging pad. Keep these screws organized for reassembly.

   Remove Wireless Charging Assembly

   Pry up the edges of the wireless charging coil bracket using a flat spudger. Lift the bracket off the phone frame and set it aside.

   Disconnect Batteries

   Use a spudger to pry straight up on both battery press connectors to cut power to the logic board. Always disconnect the batteries before touching other components.

   Disconnect Camera Modules

   Disconnect all rear camera flex cables attached to the upper section of the motherboard using a plastic spudger. Carefully unseat any cameras mounted on the board.

   Disconnect Display and Interconnect Cables

   Pop off the main display, front cover display, and lower interconnect ribbon connectors from their sockets on the logic board.

    Lower the replacement logic board into place inside the chassis. Keep all flex cables clear so they do not get trapped beneath the board.

    Reinstall the Phillips #000 retaining screws to anchor the new logic board firmly to the internal frame.

    Reconnect Board Ribbon Cables

    Align and press down on the display, camera, and interconnect flex connectors until they snap firmly onto the new motherboard headers.

    Reattach Rear Glass Cover

    Reconnect the back panel sensor cable to the board, align the rear glass cover over the chassis, and press around the perimeter to seal it firmly.
