1 minPry the battery press-connector straight up from its motherboard socket using a plastic spudger to cut power.

Disconnect Microphone Sub-Board Flex
2 minUse a plastic opening tool to disconnect the interconnect flex cable attached to the microphone sub-board.

Remove Sub-Board Screws
2 minRemove the Phillips screws holding the primary microphone sub-board assembly to the lower frame.

Pry Up Microphone Sub-Board
2 minInsert tweezers or a pry tool under the edge of the microphone sub-board and lift it out.

Position New Microphone Sub-Board
2 minAlign the replacement microphone sub-board into the lower housing slot and press gently into place.

Secure Sub-Board Screws
2 minReinstall and tighten the Phillips screws to hold the replacement microphone sub-board firmly in position.
