Eject the SIM card tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool or paperclip into the hole at the top of the phone to remove the SIM and microSD card tray.

Heat the rear glass panel
3 minApply a heated iOpener or heat gun around the perimeter of the back glass for two minutes to soften the adhesive seal.

Attach a suction cup
2 minPlace a suction cup on the lower half of the rear glass and pull upward firmly to create a small gap.

Slice perimeter adhesive
4 minInsert an opening pick into the gap and slide it along the bottom and side edges to cut through the adhesive.

2 minGently swing the back cover open to the right and use a plastic spudger to disconnect the fingerprint sensor cable.

Remove the back glass
