   Remove the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole at the top edge of the phone to eject and remove the SIM card tray.

   Heat the rear glass panel

   Apply heat from a heat gun or hair dryer to the outer edges of the back cover for two to three minutes to soften the glue.

   Attach the suction cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower half of the rear glass panel and pull upward to create a slight gap.

   Insert a plastic prying pick

   Insert a plastic prying pick into the small seam created between the glass back and the frame.

   Slide the pick along the bottom, sides, and top edges of the phone to separate the back cover adhesive.

   Carefully lift the rear panel from the right edge like a book, taking care not to strain the fingerprint sensor cable.

   Disconnect the fingerprint sensor flex cable

   Use the pointed end of a spudger to pry the fingerprint sensor connector straight up from the motherboard.

   Remove upper wireless charging assembly screws
