Step-by-step

Power off the Moto G60
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select 'Power Off' on the screen. Make sure the phone is completely shut down before starting.

2 minCarefully pry under the edges of the logic board with a spudger and lift it clear of the frame.

Clean damaged board area with flux and braid
12 minPosition the logic board under magnification, apply flux to damaged solder joints, and use a soldering iron with desoldering braid to clear faulty connections.

Reseat the repaired logic board
2 minPlace the repaired motherboard back into the frame, ensuring all flex cables rest above the board.

Reconnect all flex cables and battery
4 minSnap the camera, display, and interconnect cables back into their connectors, attaching the battery flex cable last.

Reinstall motherboard shield and rear cover
5 minScrew down the upper shield, reconnect the fingerprint sensor, and press the rear cover firmly back onto the frame with fresh adhesive.
