Power Off Device
1 minPress and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen.

Remove SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray to pop it out.

Heat Back Cover
2 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer around the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back cover and pull upward gently to create a small gap.

Slice Back Cover Adhesive
4 minInsert an opening pick into the gap and slide it along the perimeter to slice through the adhesive.

Lift Off Back Cover
2 minCarefully lift the back cover off the phone frame and set it aside.

Unscrew Upper Housing Frame
3 minUse a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper protective frame over the motherboard.

Remove Upper Housing Frame
2 minPry up the plastic housing frame using a spudger and set it aside.

Disconnect Battery Press Connector
1 minUse the flat end of a spudger to detach the battery flex cable from the logic board.

Disconnect Display and Interconnect Cables
2 minPry up the display and main ribbon cable connectors from the logic board.

Disconnect Coaxial Antenna Cable
2 minUse fine tweezers to gently unclip the coaxial antenna cable from its terminal on the logic board.

Disconnect Camera Modules
2 minUnplug the front and rear camera press connectors from the motherboard.

Remove Logic Board Screws
2 minRemove any remaining Phillips screws securing the motherboard to the enclosure frame.

Remove Logic Board
3 minGently lift the logic board from its top edge and pull it out of the chassis.
