Eject the SIM card tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the small hole beside the SIM tray on the left edge. Push firmly straight in until the tray pops out, then remove it.

Heat the rear cover edges
3 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat to warm the perimeter of the back cover for 2 minutes. This softens the adhesive holding the fingerprint sensor and outer frame clips.

Unclip the rear panel

Unplug the antenna coaxial cable
2 minUse precision tweezers to grip the metal head of the antenna cable connector. Carefully lift it straight up from the motherboard terminal.

2 minUnplug the front-facing selfie camera flex cable from its socket near the top edge of the board using a spudger.

Disconnect the rear camera module
3 minPry up the main and secondary rear camera connectors from the logic board surface using a plastic tool.

Remove the logic board retaining screw
2 minLocate and remove the single Phillips screw securing the bottom edge of the logic board to the inner chassis.

Lift and remove the logic board
3 minGently pry beneath the bottom edge of the logic board using a spudger. Lift the logic board out of the phone body, ensuring no cables catch on the board edges.
