Eject SIM tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the tray on the left side of the phone. Push firmly to eject the tray and pull it out.

Create gap under back cover
2 minInsert a thin plastic opening pick into the seam between the plastic back cover and the screen assembly, starting near the SIM tray slot.

Release perimeter clips
3 minSlide the plastic pick along all sides of the Moto G10 to unclip the rear cover. Avoid pulling the cover away completely yet.

Disconnect fingerprint sensor flex
2 minGently lift the back cover slightly to reveal the fingerprint flex cable. Use a spudger to pry the connector straight up from the motherboard.

Remove motherboard bracket screws
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the upper plastic motherboard cover screws.

Detach motherboard bracket
2 minPry up the upper motherboard shield using a spudger and set it aside.

Remove daughterboard retaining screw
2 minUnscrew the single Phillips #00 screw holding the charging sub-board to the frame.

Pry up charging sub-board
2 minInsert a flat tool underneath the daughterboard and gently lift it out of the phone housing.

Insert replacement charging board
2 minSet the new charging sub-board into position, ensuring the USB-C port aligns with the bottom frame cutout.

Fasten sub-board screw
2 minReinstall the single Phillips #00 screw securing the new sub-board in place.

Connect antenna coaxial cable
2 minAlign the antenna cable head over its socket on the daughterboard and press gently until it snaps into place.

Reconnect fingerprint sensor flex
2 minHold the back cover close to the frame and snap the fingerprint sensor flex connector into its socket.

Snap rear panel onto frame
2 minAlign the rear panel with the frame and press firmly along all edges until all plastic clips snap tight.
