   Remove SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly inward to eject the tray, then remove it completely.

   Remove Stylus Pen

   Press down on the bottom end of the stylus until it clicks out. Slide the stylus out from its slot and place it aside.

   Heat Back Cover

   Apply a heat gun or heated iOpener along the perimeter of the rear glass cover for 2 minutes to soften the underlying adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the back panel. Pull upward gently to create a small gap between the cover and the frame.

   Slice Back Cover Adhesive

   Insert an opening pick into the gap beneath the back cover. Slide the pick around all four edges to slice through the perimeter adhesive.

   Remove Back Cover

   Lift the rear cover straight up off the phone body. Set the back cover aside in a clean location.

   Unscrew Speaker Assembly

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the seven screws securing the lower speaker enclosure.

   Pry Out Speaker Module

   Insert the flat end of a spudger under the notch of the speaker housing. Lift gently to detach and remove the speaker module.

   Disconnect Interconnect Cable

   Use a spudger to pry the main flex cable connector straight up from its socket on the daughterboard.

    Disconnect Antenna Cables

    Use fine-tip tweezers to gently lever up the white and black coaxial antenna connectors from the daughterboard.

    Remove Microphone Sub-Board

    Pry gently beneath the bottom edge of the daughterboard using a plastic spudger to free it from the adhesive underneath.

    Transfer Rubber Mic Gasket

    Use tweezers to lift the rubber microphone gasket off the old board. Place the gasket precisely onto the microphone port of the replacement board.

    Install Replacement Sub-Board

    Align the replacement daughterboard over its recessed slot in the frame. Press down firmly to adhere it into position.

    Reconnect Antennas and Flex Cable

    Snap the two coaxial antenna cables onto their board headers, then press the main interconnect flex connector into place.

    Reinstall Speaker Enclosure

    Place the lower speaker assembly back into the chassis and press it flat. Reinstall and tighten the seven Phillips #00 screws.

    Reseal Back Cover

    Apply new pre-cut adhesive strips around the rear frame perimeter. Press the back cover firmly onto the phone for 30 seconds to establish a seal.
