Remove SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly inward to eject the tray, then remove it completely.

2 minPry gently beneath the bottom edge of the daughterboard using a plastic spudger to free it from the adhesive underneath.

Transfer Rubber Mic Gasket
2 minUse tweezers to lift the rubber microphone gasket off the old board. Place the gasket precisely onto the microphone port of the replacement board.

Install Replacement Sub-Board
1 minAlign the replacement daughterboard over its recessed slot in the frame. Press down firmly to adhere it into position.

Reconnect Antennas and Flex Cable
2 minSnap the two coaxial antenna cables onto their board headers, then press the main interconnect flex connector into place.

Reinstall Speaker Enclosure
2 minPlace the lower speaker assembly back into the chassis and press it flat. Reinstall and tighten the seven Phillips #00 screws.

Reseal Back Cover
2 minApply new pre-cut adhesive strips around the rear frame perimeter. Press the back cover firmly onto the phone for 30 seconds to establish a seal.
