   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the Power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the phone is completely shut down before starting.

   Remove SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool or paperclip into the small hole on the left side of the phone. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then pull it out completely.

   Apply Heat to Back Cover

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat to warm the rear edges of the phone for two to three minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the back cover.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction handle near the bottom edge of the back cover. Press down firmly to create a tight seal.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Pull up gently on the suction cup to create a small gap near the USB-C port. Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam.

   Slice Perimeter Adhesive

   Slide the pick carefully around all four edges of the rear panel to cut through the glue. Reapply heat if the adhesive becomes resistant.

   Remove Back Cover

   Gently lift the back cover away from the phone frame. Set the rear panel aside in a clean, dust-free area.

   Unscrew Loudspeaker Module

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws holding down the lower speaker assembly. Store the screws in a safe location.

   Detach Loudspeaker Assembly

   Insert the flat end of a spudger under the edge of the speaker housing. Carefully lift and remove it to expose the daughterboard.

    Disconnect Battery Flex Cable

    Pry the battery connector straight up from its motherboard socket using a plastic spudger. This prevents electrical shorts during repair.

    Disconnect Main Interconnect Flex

    Use a spudger to pry up the main ribbon cable connector on the lower charging board assembly.

    Unclip Coaxial Antenna Cables

    Use precision tweezers to gently snap off the antenna coaxial connectors attached to the charging board. Be careful not to bend the tiny metal heads.

    Remove Charging Board Screw

    Locate and remove the single Phillips #00 screw securing the daughterboard to the phone chassis.

    Pry Up Faulty Charging Board

    Slide a plastic opening tool beneath the edge of the charging port board. Gently lift and remove the board from the device housing.

    Position the new charging port board into the lower cavity of the frame. Press down lightly until it sits perfectly flush.

    Secure Charging Board Screw

    Replace the Phillips #00 screw to anchor the new daughterboard to the frame. Do not overtighten.

    Reconnect Antenna Cables

    Align the coaxial antenna heads over their sockets on the daughterboard and snap them into place carefully with tweezers.

    Reconnect Main Interconnect Cable

    Press the battery flex cable connector back into its motherboard socket until it seats completely.

    Align the loudspeaker housing over the lower daughterboard section and press it into position.

    Thread and tighten the Phillips screws to firm down the loudspeaker module completely.

    Clean Old Adhesive

    Dampen a lint-free cloth with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive residue from the chassis frame and back panel.

    Apply New Adhesive Tape

    Lay pre-cut adhesive strips around the rim of the phone chassis. Peel off the protective film lining.

    Reattach Back Cover
