Power off the phone

3 minSlide the pick carefully around all edges of the rear panel to cut through the adhesive, keeping it shallow near the fingerprint sensor.

Disconnect the fingerprint reader

Remove the back panel

2 minReplace and tighten the five Phillips #00 screws to firmly fasten the new loudspeaker module.

Reconnect the fingerprint sensor
2 minPosition the rear panel near the phone and press the fingerprint sensor flex cable connector firmly back into its socket.

Apply new adhesive
3 minClean off remaining old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and apply fresh pre-cut adhesive tape along the frame perimeter.

Reattach the back cover
2 minAlign the back panel over the phone frame and press down firmly around the edges to secure the bond.

Reinsert the SIM tray
1 minSlide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the side of the device until fully flush.
