Power off the phone

Slice screen perimeter
3 minRun the pick around all four edges of the front glass to slice through the screen adhesive.

Remove damaged display
2 minLift the display assembly away from the frame while carefully threading its flex cable through the slot.

Clean frame adhesive
3 minScrape away remaining glue and wipe down the frame edges using isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth.
