Turn off device
1 minPress and hold the Power button, then tap Power Off to completely shutdown the phone.

Eject SIM tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the small hole next to the SIM slot on the bottom frame to pop out the tray.

Heat rear panel
2 minApply a heat gun or heated pad to the back glass edges for two minutes to soften the adhesive seal.

Slice perimeter adhesive
3 minAttach a suction cup to the lower back glass, pull upward, and slide an opening pick into the gap.

Remove back cover
2 minSlide the opening pick around all edges to sever the remaining adhesive, then lift off the back panel.
