   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen to completely shut down the device.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom of the phone to pop out the SIM card tray.

   Heat Back Cover

   Apply heat using a heat gun around the edges of the rear glass cover for 2 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull up firmly to create a small gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the frame and the rear glass.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Slide the pick carefully along the perimeter of the phone to slice through the adhesive securing the back cover.

   Lift Off Back Cover

   Gently lift the back glass panel off the chassis, taking care not to strain any internal ribbon cables.

   Unscrew Lower Bracket

   Remove the Phillips #000 screws securing the bottom speaker assembly and protective cover.

   Remove Speaker Assembly

   Pry up and remove the loudspeaker module to reveal the daughterboard beneath it.

    Disconnect Battery Cable

    Use a plastic spudger to disconnect the battery press connector from the motherboard to cut power.

    Disconnect Main Interconnect Flex

    Unplug the main flex cable connecting the charging daughterboard to the mainboard.

    Disconnect Display Flex Cable

    Use a spudger to gently pop the display connector off the lower sub-board.

    Disconnect Coaxial Cables

    Unplug the white and black antenna coaxial cables from the daughterboard using fine tweezers.

    Unscrew Daughterboard

    Remove the remaining Phillips screw holding the USB-C daughterboard to the phone frame.

    Remove Faulty Daughterboard

    Carefully pry the charging port daughterboard out of its recess in the lower frame.

    Position New Daughterboard

    Place the replacement charging port board into the lower chassis alignment posts.

    Secure Daughterboard Screw

    Reinstall the Phillips screw to fix the new daughterboard securely to the frame.

    Reconnect Coaxial Cables

    Snap the antenna cables precisely back onto their corresponding board terminals.

    Press the display and mainboard flex connectors straight down onto the daughterboard until they click.

    Attach the battery flex connector back to the mainboard.

    Set the loudspeaker bracket back over the sub-board and press it into place.

    Fasten Bracket Screws

    Screw in the Phillips #000 screws to hold the speaker housing firmly.

    Apply Fresh Adhesive

    Lay down custom precut adhesive strips along the edges of the frame chassis.

    Seal Back Cover

    Align the back glass cover and press down firmly around the edges to seal the phone.
