   Power Off the Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off to completely turn off the device before opening.

   Eject the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the SIM tray and press firmly to pop the tray out.

   Create a Back Cover Seam

   Insert a plastic opening pick between the display bezel and the back cover at the bottom of the device.

   Unclip the Back Cover

   Slide the opening pick along the bottom edge and around the sides to unclip the rear shell.

   Carefully Open the Back Cover

   Lift the rear cover slightly away from the phone, taking care not to strain the fingerprint sensor flex cable.

   Unscrew the Fingerprint Bracket

   Remove the single Phillips #00 screw securing the metal bracket over the fingerprint sensor cable connector.

   Remove the Fingerprint Bracket

   Use precision tweezers to lift the metal shield bracket off the motherboard connector.

   Disconnect the Fingerprint Cable

   Pry up the fingerprint sensor flex connector directly from the motherboard using a nylon spudger.

   Remove the Back Cover

   Set the back cover completely aside now that the fingerprint sensor is disconnected.

    Unscrew the Speaker Enclosure

    Remove the seven Phillips #00 screws holding down the bottom loudspeaker module.

    Remove the Loudspeaker Module

    Wedge a spudger beneath the loudspeaker housing and lift it away from the bottom of the phone frame.

    Disconnect the Antenna Cable

    Use tweezers to carefully lift the coaxial antenna cable connector straight up off the lower daughterboard.

    Disconnect the Interconnect Ribbon Cable

    Use a spudger to pry up the main motherboard-to-daughterboard interconnect ribbon cable connector.

    Unscrew the Daughterboard

    Remove the single Phillips #00 screw locking the charging port daughterboard to the plastic frame.

    Pry Up the Charging Port Board

    Slide a spudger beneath the daughterboard to break the underlying light adhesive and lift the board out.

    Position the Replacement Board

    Place the new charging port daughterboard into the frame recess and press gently into place.

    Secure the Daughterboard Screw

    Reinstall the single Phillips #00 screw to anchor the new board to the lower frame.

    Reconnect the Interconnect Ribbon Cable

    Align the main flex cable connector over its socket on the new board and press firmly until it snaps down.

    Reconnect the Coaxial Antenna

    Position the tiny coaxial connector over the daughterboard terminal and press down carefully to snap it into place.

    Reinstall the Loudspeaker Enclosure

    Align the loudspeaker cover over the bottom daughterboard and push down until flush.

    Secure the Loudspeaker Screws

    Replace the seven Phillips #00 screws to fasten the loudspeaker assembly to the housing.

    Reconnect the Fingerprint Sensor

    Attach the fingerprint flex cable to the motherboard by pressing down on the press connector.

    Reattach the Fingerprint Shield

    Place the metal shield over the connector and tighten the single Phillips #00 screw to lock it in place.

    Snap the Back Cover On

    Align the rear panel with the phone edges and press around the sides until all plastic tabs snap shut.

    Insert the SIM Card Tray

    Reinsert the SIM tray into its slot until flush with the outer frame.
