Power off device
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select power off to shut down the Motorola Moto E20 completely.

Eject SIM card tray

Insert opening pick
2 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the thin seam between the screen frame and back cover near the SIM slot.

Disconnect fingerprint sensor
2 minSlightly lift the back cover and use a spudger to detach the fingerprint sensor flex cable from the motherboard.

Disconnect daughterboard flex cable
1 minUse a spudger to detach the wide interconnect flex cable from the lower daughterboard.

Disconnect coaxial antenna cable
2 minGently pry up the antenna connector from the lower board using precision tweezers.

Pry out lower daughterboard
2 minInsert a spudger beneath the daughterboard and carefully lift it out of the phone frame.

Install replacement daughterboard
2 minPosition the new daughterboard with the replacement microphone into the bottom recess and press gently into place.

Reconnect coaxial cable
2 minAlign the antenna cable head and carefully press it down until it snaps onto the new daughterboard terminal.

Attach main interconnect cable
1 minPress the main ribbon cable connector onto the bottom board until it firmly clicks into place.

Reinstall loudspeaker housing
3 minPlace the loudspeaker cover back over the daughterboard and tighten the Phillips #000 screws.

Reconnect battery flex cable
1 minSnap the battery connector back onto its terminal on the motherboard.

Reconnect fingerprint sensor flex
2 minAttach the fingerprint reader ribbon cable to the main board before placing the back cover back on.

Snap back cover in place
2 minAlign the back cover with the frame and press around all edges until the plastic clips lock securely.
