   Eject the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the right side of the phone. Remove the SIM and MicroSD card tray.

   Remove the battery module

   Press the module release button on the lower-left edge of the frame. Pull the chin module straight out to detach the module and battery assembly.

   Detach the battery from the chin

   Hold the modular chin base firmly with one hand and pull the battery straight away to unclip it. Do not twist or bend the battery connection.

   Remove the bottom cavity screws

   Unscrew the two Phillips #00 screws located inside the bottom slot where the module was removed.

   Unclip the rear casing

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the seam between the screen frame and the rear aluminum housing. Slide along the perimeter to release the plastic retention clips.

   Separate the display assembly

   Carefully lift the front screen and frame assembly away from the rear housing. Set the rear housing aside.

   Disconnect the display flex cable

   Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the display connector straight up from the motherboard.

   Unscrew the motherboard

   Remove the three Phillips #00 screws securing the motherboard to the display frame assembly.

   Disconnect the front camera

   Pry up the front camera flex connector with a spudger and remove the camera module from its slot.

    Remove the rear cameras

    Disconnect the dual rear camera press connectors from the motherboard. Lift the camera module out of the assembly.

    Lift out the motherboard

    Gently pry up the motherboard from the top edge using a spudger and remove it from the display frame.

    Remove the earpiece speaker

    Use precision tweezers to lift the earpiece speaker module out of the top notch of the frame.

    Remove the vibration motor

    Carefully pry the coin-style vibration motor up from its recess, taking care not to damage the contact pads.

    Transfer small components

    Seat the earpiece speaker and vibration motor into their corresponding recesses on the new display assembly.

    Reinstall the motherboard

    Lower the motherboard onto the new display assembly, making sure it aligns with all mounting screw holes.

    Reconnect the camera modules

    Place the front and rear cameras into their slots and press down on their flex connectors until they snap onto the motherboard.

    Secure the motherboard screws

    Reinstall the three Phillips #00 screws to fasten the motherboard to the new display frame.

    Connect the display flex cable

    Align the main display flex cable over its motherboard socket and press down firmly to snap it into place.

    Snap the display into the rear case

    Align the screen assembly with the rear aluminum case and press firmly along the edges until all clips snap closed.

    Reinstall the bottom cavity screws

    Drive the two Phillips #00 screws back into the bottom cavity to secure the screen to the case.

    Attach the battery to the chin

    Align the base of the battery with the chin module and press firmly until it locks securely into place.

    Slide in the module assembly

    Slide the combined battery and chin module back into the bottom cavity until the release button clicks shut.

    Reinsert the SIM tray

    Push the SIM and MicroSD card tray back into the right side of the device until flush.
