Power down the device
1 minPress and hold the power button and volume up key simultaneously, then select 'Power off' on the screen.

Eject the SIM tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the small pinhole on the bottom edge to pop out the SIM card tray.

Heat the rear panel
3 minApply a heat gun set to low heat along the edges of the back panel for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach the suction cup
2 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear glass and pull gently to create a small gap.

Insert an opening pick
2 minSlide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup under the rear panel.

Slice perimeter adhesive
4 minSlide the pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the factory adhesive layer.

Remove the rear cover

2 minAlign the replacement loudspeaker assembly with the bottom cavity and press it flush into place.

Fasten speaker housing screws
2 minThread and tighten the screws into the lower speaker assembly until securely seated.

Reconnect the battery cable

Reinstall the midframe shield

Apply fresh rear adhesive
