Insert Opening Pick
2 minPull up on the suction cup ring to create a small gap between the glass and frame. Insert a thin opening pick no deeper than three millimeters.

Slice Bottom Edge Adhesive
2 minSlide the opening pick slowly along the bottom edge of the frame to cut through the screen adhesive.

Slice Left Edge Adhesive
2 minMove the pick around the bottom-left corner and slide it up toward the top of the phone to separate the left side.

Slice Right Edge Adhesive
2 minInsert a second pick into the bottom edge and slide it along the right side toward the top corner.

Slice Top Edge Adhesive
2 minCarefully slice along the top border near the earpiece speaker, keeping the pick shallow to avoid damaging sensor cables.

Lift Display Gently
2 minRotate the display glass upward from the right side like opening a book cover. Do not pull the screen away entirely as it remains connected by a cable.

Unscrew Display Cable Shield
2 minUse a precision screwdriver to remove the screws securing the metal display cable shield to the motherboard.

Remove Cable Shield Bracket
