Step-by-step

Power Off Device
1 minPress and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously, then tap Power Off on the screen.

Heat Rear Glass
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat to warm the outer edges of the rear panel for about two minutes.

Attach Suction Cup
1 minPress a suction cup onto the lower portion of the rear panel and gently pull upward to create a slim gap.

Slice Rear Adhesive
3 minInsert a plastic prying tool into the seam and slide it along the perimeter to cut through the adhesive seal.

Remove Rear Glass

2 minGently lift the primary microphone assembly out of its recessed slot using precision tweezers.

Position Replacement Microphone
2 minSet the new microphone board precisely into the alignment pins located at the bottom of the frame.

Attach Microphone Flex
1 minAlign the flex connector over the socket and press down firmly until it snaps into place.

Reinstall Speaker Assembly
2 minPlace the loudspeaker unit back into the lower frame and tighten the retaining screws.
