   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the sleep/power button until the slider appears. Slide to power off the iPhone completely before starting.

   Remove Bottom Pentalobe Screws

   Use a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 3.6 mm screws located on either side of the Lightning connector.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the front panel, positioned just above the Home button.

   Pry Open Lower Display

   Pull up gently on the suction cup while prying the rear case down with a plastic spudger to create a small gap.

   Open Display Assembly

   Slide an opening pick along the bottom and sides to release the clips, then open the screen to a 90-degree angle.

   Remove Battery Bracket Screws

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the metal battery connector bracket.

   Disconnect Battery Cable

   Lift the battery bracket off the board and use the point of a spudger to pry up the battery press connector.

   Remove Display Cable Bracket

   Remove the five Phillips #000 screws holding the metal display cable bracket in place and lift it out.

   Disconnect Display Cables

   Use a plastic spudger to gently disconnect the front camera, home button, digitizer, and display cables from the board.

    Separate Front Panel Assembly

    Lift the entire display assembly away from the rear enclosure and place it face-down on a clean surface.

    Unscrew Home Button Bracket

    Remove the two Phillips #000 screws holding the home button bracket to the display assembly.

    Remove Home Button

    Gently pry up the home button ribbon cable edge and press the home button up through the front glass.

    Unscrew Earpiece Speaker Bracket

    Remove the three Phillips #000 screws securing the earpiece speaker bracket at the top of the display.

    Remove Earpiece and Front Camera Cable

    Lift out the earpiece speaker, then carefully peel the front camera and sensor assembly off the display glass.

    Remove LCD Shield Plate

    Remove the seven Phillips #000 screws along the edges of the display shield and lift the plate off.

    Install Shield Plate on New Screen

    Align the LCD shield plate onto the new screen assembly and secure it using the seven Phillips #000 screws.

    Transfer Front Camera and Speaker

    Seat the front camera and sensor cable into the top of the new panel, insert the speaker, and reattach its bracket.

    Transfer Home Button Assembly

    Insert the home button into the front glass opening, press down its ribbon cable, and secure the metal bracket with screws.

    Reconnect Display Cables

    Attach the display, digitizer, home button, and front camera connectors to their respective sockets on the logic board.

    Reinstall Display Cable Bracket

    Place the display cable bracket over the connections and secure it using the five Phillips #000 screws.

    Reconnect Battery and Bracket

    Press the battery cable into its connector, position the battery bracket, and tighten its two Phillips screws.

    Seat Display and Secure Bottom Screws

    Align the top hooks of the display into the rear frame, snap the edges down, and reinstall the two Pentalobe screws.
