   Remove pentalobe screws

   Use a P2 pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 6.8 mm screws located on either side of the Lightning connector.

   Warm lower edge

   Apply a heated iOpener or heat gun to the bottom edge of the iPhone for two minutes to soften the display adhesive.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction handle near the bottom edge of the screen, taking care not to place it over the speaker notch area.

   Slice display adhesive

   Pull up firmly on the suction handle to create a tiny gap, then insert an opening pick and slide it along the perimeter.

   Open display assembly

   Swing the screen open to the right side like a book cover. Lean it against a steady object so it does not strain the flex cables.

   Remove battery bracket screws

   Use a Y000 tri-point driver to remove the three 1.3 mm screws securing the lower bracket over the battery connector.

   Disconnect battery press connector

   Use the edge of a plastic spudger to pry the battery connector straight up off its logic board socket.

   Unscrew display connector bracket

   Remove the five Y000 screws securing the bracket covering the display and sensor cable connectors.

   Disconnect display cables

   Pry up the OLED panel connector, digitizer connector, and front sensor assembly cable from the logic board.

    Remove screen assembly

    Lift the display assembly free from the chassis and set it aside on a clean surface.

    Remove rear camera bracket

    Unscrew the four Y000 screws holding the metal camera cover plate and remove the bracket with tweezers.

    Disconnect camera connectors

    Disconnect all three rear camera press connectors from the board and lift out the triple-camera module.

    Remove logic board fasteners

    Remove the remaining standoff screws and Y000 screws holding the logic board assembly inside the case.

    Lift out logic board

    Disconnect all connected antenna and button ribbons, then carefully maneuver the logic board out of the phone.

    Heaten rear wireless coil

    Heat the exterior back glass over the center area for two minutes to loosen the wireless charging pad adhesive.

    Peel wireless charging assembly

    Gently slide a plastic opening pick under the edges of the wireless charging coil and volume button flex to unstick it from the case.
