Safety
- Unplug the console from electrical power and wait 10 minutes before disassembly to allow capacitors to discharge.

Remove Hard Drive Cover
1 minSlide off the plastic hard drive bay cover located on the rear corner of the console.

Unscrew Hard Drive Bracket
2 minRemove the single Phillips #1 screw securing the hard drive tray to the chassis.

Pull Out Hard Drive
1 minGrasp the ribbon tab and slide the hard drive assembly straight out of its slot.

Peel Off Warranty Stickers
2 minUse tweezers to carefully peel away the warranty sticker labels on the rear panel to reveal hidden screws.

Remove Rear Case Screws
3 minUnscrew the TR8 Torx Security screws located under the warranty stickers on the rear panel.

Pry Off Bottom Cover
3 minInsert a plastic spudger into the seam between the top and bottom cases and pop the bottom panel off.

Remove Metal Shielding Screws
4 minUnscrew the TR8 Torx Security and Phillips screws securing the bottom metal shield plate.

Pry Off Top Cover
3 minFlip the console over and use a spudger to unclip and lift away the top plastic housing cover.

Remove PSU Retaining Plate Screws
3 minUnscrew the T8 and Phillips screws securing the metal bracket directly over the power supply unit.

Lift Off Metal Retaining Bracket
1 minLift the metal power supply retaining bracket off the top of the power supply unit.

Unplug Power Cable Harness
2 minGently pull the small 4-pin power connector cable straight out of the socket on the motherboard.

Remove Power Supply Screws
3 minUnscrew the long TR8 Torx Security screws holding the power supply block to the console chassis.

Lift Out Power Supply Unit
2 minGrasp the power supply unit on both sides and pull straight up to disconnect it from the motherboard prongs.
