Remove Rear Warranty Label

Transfer Original Daughterboard
5 minMove the original circuit board to the replacement optical drive so it remains paired with the console motherboard.

Reassemble Replacement Drive Case
4 minReconnect internal ribbon cables to the transferred daughterboard and screw the bottom metal plate back on.

Seat Drive in Console Chassis
2 minAlign the new disc drive assembly with the rubber dampeners inside the lower console housing.

Reconnect Drive Cables
3 minPlug both the SATA data cable and power cable firmly into the rear ports of the optical drive.

Reinstall Metal Top Shield
5 minPosition the top metal chassis cover back onto the console and tighten all T20 Torx screws.
