Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Special Edition

The Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Special Edition (UDM SE) is a high performance 1U rackmount security gateway and UniFi OS console engineered for enterprise edge deployments, small to medium businesses, and advanced prosumer networks. Building upon the foundation of the UniFi Dream Machine Pro, the UDM SE integrates multi gigabit WAN connectivity, an 8 port switch with integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE), built in flash storage for system applications, and a 3.5 inch hard drive bay dedicated to UniFi Protect NVR storage. This consolidation allows administrators to run network routing, intrusion prevention, access control, and IP video surveillance directly from a single centralized hardware platform. From an architectural and network planning standpoint, the UDM SE simplifies rack setups by eliminating the immediate need for outboard PoE switches in modest camera or access point installations.
