The Eero 6+ occupies a practical sweet spot in Amazon's Eero mesh router lineup, positioned directly above the entry level Eero 6 and below the tri band Eero Pro 6 and Pro 6E series. Designed as a dual band Wi Fi 6 router, the Eero 6+ introduces 160 MHz channel bandwidth support, allowing for faster local throughput to compatible client devices compared to standard 80 MHz dual band units. It is engineered to function as a primary gateway router connected directly to a modem or as an expansion node across a larger mesh network, catering to homes that need reliable gigabit class coverage without the higher cost of tri band architecture. Hardware wise, the Eero 6+ retains Eero’s compact, glossy white dome enclosure with a single status LED on the front face. The rear panel provides two auto sensing Gigabit Ethernet ports for WAN or LAN backhaul connections, alongside a USB C port dedicated to power input.
