Rokid's smart glasses ecosystem is built around wearable virtual displays designed for personal media consumption, cloud gaming, and light productivity. By utilizing birdbath optical engines paired with high density Micro OLED panels, the lineup projects a large virtual screen directly in front of the wearer. Rather than focusing heavily on standalone spatial computing, Rokid categorizes these devices primarily as high performance display peripherals, relying either on direct host device connections or companion media hardware to supply power and video signals. The lineup has evolved through distinct hardware generations. Early models like the Rokid Air introduced the core form factor with basic diopter adjustments and a modest field of view. The subsequent Rokid Max significantly improved display performance, expanding the field of view to 50 degrees, raising refresh rates up to 120Hz, and refining the optical stack for higher peak brightness and clarity. The Rokid Max 2 further refines frame ergonomics, nose pad adjustments, and structural balance while maintaining compatibility with the broader accessory lineup. To solve compatibility issues with host devices that lack DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB C, Rokid introduced the Rokid Station—a dedicated Android TV streaming hub that acts as a plug and play media source and battery pack.
