BenQ Projector Won't Turn On

  3. Failed Lamp / Driver: A burnt-out lamp filament, exploded bulb, or blown ballast board prevents successful ignition check.
  4. Blown Internal Fuse or MOV: A transient power spike popped the primary fuse on the high-voltage side of the power board.
  5. Cooling System Failure: A dead intake/exhaust fan or clogged thermal sensor forces an immediate preventative emergency shutdown.

Quick checks first

Start by testing the simple physical connections. Verify that your power cable is pressed firmly into the projector's C14 inlet—these can sometimes feel seated without making full metal-to-metal contact.
